Welcome back to a brand new term at Bubar Montessori. The first week has been a flurry of small hands, muddy boots and very proud parents at pick-up.
Our practical-life corner has been transformed into a tiny garden centre. The children have potted sunflower seeds, sorted bulbs by colour and labelled trays with their own first-letter cards. We were amazed at how quickly even our newest starters settled into the rhythm of planting, watering and waiting.
Outside, the herb beds are being prepared by the Pre-school children. Each child has chosen a herb to look after for the term — basil, mint, chives and lavender are the early favourites. Expect a few sprigs to make their way home in lunch boxes.
A reminder that our Spring Open Morning is on Saturday 28 March. Families already on the waiting list have priority, but we have a handful of slots for new enquiries. Pop us a note if you'd like to come along.
